2-1-08 Annual Report

We support clients to prepare an annual report voluntarily in English. We do not sign an audit report of these financial statements and footnotes of this annual report since we do not audit these financial statements and footnotes . We adopt one of these following four accounting principles designated by clients.

  1. Japanese GAAP: We translate financial statements according to Companies Act in Japan or Financial Instruments and Exchange Act in Japan into English referring to annual reports of overseas excellent companies that are active in same industry of a client.
  2. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs): We prepare adjusted and reclassified trial balance and then prepare an annual report according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), referring to IFRS Taxonomy and annual reports of overseas excellent companies that are active in same industry of a client. We cannot complete annual report according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) if we do not obtain enough financial data for financial statements and footnotes.
  3. International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium-sized Entities (referred to as the “IFRS for SMEs”): We prepare adjusted and reclassified trial balance and then prepare an annual report according to International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium-sized Entities (IFRS for SMEs), referring to IFRS Taxonomy and annual reports of overseas excellent companies that are active in same industry of a client.
  4. Financial Accounting Standards Board Accounting Standards Codification (FASB asc): We prepare adjusted and reclassified trial balance and then prepare an annual report according to Financial Accounting Standards Board Accounting Standards Codification (FASB asc), referring to Form 10-K provided by The federal securities laws and annual reports of overseas excellent companies that are active in same industry of a client.

We highly recommend  small or middle sized clients that aim at overseas expansion, going public at overseas stock exchange and attracting overseas investors to prepare annual report voluntarily according to International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium-sized Entities (IFRS for SMEs). There are fewer adjust, reclassified and footnote disclosure items for most of small or middle sized companies than large companies. Preparing annual report is not so difficult as a lot of small or middle sized clients imagine. Furthermore, we will offer competitive fee because supporting globally growing companies is our mission.
